Tensions between Iran and Israel heightened as Iran tested its missiles in several locations, aiming not only to assess unit readiness but also to reassess after the “12-day war”. The revitalization of the missile program signifies attempts to regain pre-war capabilities amidst a potential showdown with Israel and other states.

– Israeli Opposition under Fire:

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar criticized the opposition at a Hanukkah event claiming their inability to make sound wartime decisions. Saar openly praised the current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, questioning the competence of those seeking to replace him.

– Turkish Patience Running Thin:

Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, expressed concern over the failure of Syrian Kurdish forces to merge with Syrian forces. Cavusoglu accused them of conspiring with Israel, risking ongoing negotiations with Damascus. In a landmark meeting, Israel, Greece, and Cyprus expressed shared concerns against Turkish President Erdogan. Netanyahu warned against Iran and called for the return of Hamas captive, Renny Guillie. He anticipates to discuss the matter with President Trump in upcoming meetings.

– VP Pence Denounces Anti-Semitic Accusations:

Vice President Mike Pence denied criticisms against Israel as being anti-Semitic. Despite criticisms, Pence encouraged open discussions on foreign policies and insisted that Americans, by majority, are not anti-Semitic.
