– Netanyahu’s Party Projected to Lead in Elections:

Recent election projections from a News 13 survey showed that if elections were held today, the Likud, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, would emerge as the largest party in the Knesset with 27 seats. Naftali Bennett’s party trails closely behind with a likelihood of winning 23 seats, followed by the “Democrats,” led by Yair Golan who are projected to secure 10 seats.

– Public Opinion on Israel-Hamas War:

The survey also covered public opinion on the ending of the war with Hamas, with a majority, 82% of respondents, expressing agreement with Trump’s plan to end the war and return the abductees. While results on who had the upper hand in the war were more varied, 46% believed Israel was victorious, 14% supported Hamas, and 40% were undecided. Most respondents, 67%, credited Trump for the agreement, as opposed to 22% who attributed it to Netanyahu.

– Ongoing Support from Yemen’s Houthis:

Yemen-based Houthis announced they will continue supporting Palestinians until ceasefires are fully implemented and blockades by Israel are lifted. Despite a potential deal to end the conflict in Gaza, the Houthi Political Bureau member, Mohammad Al-Faraj, reinforced the group’s commitment to Palestinian rights and the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital.

– Peace Talks Culminate in Ceasefire Agreement:

After seven months of erratic talks and military tensions, a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas appears to be in sight. While disputes have persisted and military operations have led to casualties on both sides, recent efforts seem promising. In a pivotal move, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu committed to a “White House Agreement” to free all captives, setting the stage for promising diplomatic relations with Riyadh.

– Former President Trump Invited to Knesset:

The Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, extended an official invitation to former President Donald Trump to address the Israeli parliament. Ohana applauded Trump’s instrumental role in securing the release of all Israelis held by Hamas, lauding him as the greatest ally of the Jewish people in contemporary times. If Trump accepts, his address would mark the first speech by a sitting American President to the Knesset since George W. Bush in 2008.

– U.S. Funds Israel’s War Efforts:

In the past two years, U.S. financial assistance to Israel for its war efforts has amounted to a whopping $32 billion, according to Brown University research. Yearly aid was almost tripled in the first year of the war, followed by a subsequent $8.5 to $11 billion investment during Trump’s presidency.
