– “12-day war” Hits Iran’s Nuclear Program:

According to a joint Washington Post – PBS Frontline investigation, Israel conducted a 12-day covert operation against Iran’s nuclear program, seen as one of the most complicated operations in Israel’s history. Involved were Israeli ground agents using innovative weaponry, targeting Iran’s missile systems, defense facilities, and scientists linked to the nuclear program. This comes as the U.S. and Iran engage in nuclear deal discussions, with a contingency plan in place in case of a failure in talks.

– Tensions Soar Over Israeli-Greek Aerial Exercises:

Turkey has expressed its apprehensions over the joint air exercises held by Israel and Greece in Cyprus. Turkish analysts see this as an attempt to build an Eastern Mediterranean front against Turkey. Furthermore, Turkey has criticized Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria for their unanticipated military, diplomatic, and political measures.

– Terror Groups Consolidating Strength in Syria, Claims IDF:

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) contends that jihadist groups, pro-Iranian militias, Islamic Jihad, Hamas, Daesh (ISIS), and Hezbollah are building their power bases in lawless areas of Syria. The IDF speculates that these groups were likely spurred on by the transition from the Assad regime to the current regime led by al-Shara.

– Murder of MIT Nuclear Scientist Stirs Rumours:

Nuno Loureiro, an MIT nuclear scientist who was working on green nuclear energy, was shot dead in his Boston home. Despite initial speculations in Israel about a hate crime, an Israeli professor at MIT clarified that Loureiro was not a practicing Jew.

– Israeli Residents Arrested on Suspicion of ISIS Allegiance:

Two Israeli residents were apprehended, suspected of pledging allegiance to ISIS and planning to travel to the US for terrorist training. Kinan Azaziza, one of the arrested individuals, was reportedly preparing to source weapons from female Israeli soldiers who were deemed easier targets.

– Proposed Tri-nation Force in Eastern Mediterranean:

In response to Turkey’s military expansion, Israel, Greece, and Cyprus are weighing the establishment of a joint military force for the Eastern Mediterranean. The force’s mandate would likely extend to protecting regional pipelines and onshore infrastructure susceptible to terrorism.

– New Alliances and a Possible “Terrible Nuclear Deal”:

Israel allies with moderate Arab states like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, and the Palestinian Authority to control Turkey and Qatar’s influence over Gaza. The sale of gas to Egypt asserts their position in controlling Gaza. Meanwhile, a warning rings out that Iran may rush into a new “terrible nuclear deal” and is developing nuclear weapons under false pretenses. He emphasizes the threat to Israelis globally, citing the recent terror attack on Bondi Beach in Sydney.
