Recorded covert shipping transactions from May 2024 to December 2025 highlight the transfer of 47 million barrels of crude oil from Turkey to Israel, in spite of a formal embargo. Along with these, eight covert shipments of coal from South Africa to Israel between October 2023 to February 2026 were reportedly handled by Greece’s Thenamaris shipping company.
