– Maryland Man Attempted to Join ISIS:

A 22-year-old Maryland resident, Michael Sam Tikiye Junior, has admitted in federal court to planning attacks against Jews and supporters of Israel in the U.S. and trying to join ISIS. Tikiye was arrested in 2024 while attempting to travel to Somalia via Istanbul. Authorities discovered Tikiye’s connection to an active Somali ISIS member, unveiling his violent intentions.

– Qatar’s Influence in International Politics:

An examination of Qatar’s global negotiations spotlights its monetary power in swaying political landscapes, including in the United States. The small but wealthy country is seen to use methods such as promising local factory investments to secure politicians’ favor. The report also touches on Qatar’s support for the Muslim Brotherhood and its interest in political Islam.
