– Pahlavi Announces Intention to Usher Iranian Democracy:

Iran’s Prince in-exile, Pahlavi, revealed in a Fox News interview his plans for peaceful democratic transition in Iran through a national referendum and constitutional assembly. The prince, who voiced support for Israel during an April visit, indicated his readiness to return to Iran when necessary. This comes amid reports of Iran-controlled Iraqi militias employing around 800 Shi’ite Iraqi militia members to quell Iranian protests.

– Israel Continues Aid to Hamas Despite Recommendations:

Despite advice against such, Israel continues to provide more food and fuel aid to Hamas than required. This surplus aid reportedly serves as significant revenue for Hamas, enabling them to pay salaries to a large number of employees and activists even in times of conflict. Israel has not responded to calls for reducing aid to check Hamas’s financial growth.

– Tension Rises as Iran Protests Escalate:

Protests in Iran have intensified, leading to 35 deaths and over 1,200 arrests across 27 out of 31 Iranian provinces. Initiated by economic frustrations and a depreciating local currency, these groundbreaking demonstrations are termed the largest since the 2022 ‘Hijab Protests’. Iran’s Supreme Leader and President have, while warning offenders, ordered a special probe into these events.

– Israel Aerospace Industries Introduces Advanced Border Protection Solution:

A breakthrough solution for national border protection has been successfully exhibited by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). Designed to meet Israel’s security needs, the system utilizes advanced tech for real-time intelligence gathering and management for fast response and optimally-timed actions.

– Trump Supervises Largely Unfruitful Israel-Syria Talks:

U.S.-monitored talks between Ahmed Al-Shara (Al-Julani) and Donald Trump focusing on improving Israel-Syria ties offered only incremental progress. The discussions – centered on information and diplomatic coordination, as well as potential economic ventures – couldn’t achieve any concrete agreements. Israel’s committed stance on controlling the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon lingers as a contentious issue.

– Controversy Surrounds Police Spokesman and Knesset Member:

Knesset member Ahmad Tibi lodged a complaint against police spokesman Aryeh Doron. Accusing Doron of derogatory remarks during a live broadcast, Tibi demanded an investigation into Doron’s ethical conduct, authority overreach, and misuse of power. This follows planned legal inquiries into Tibi himself.

– Israel Stands Firm on Golan Heights Issue:

In Paris-convened talks about Syrian security, Israel emphatically stated it would not relinquish control over Golan Heights and Mount Hermon. While the discussion, featuring key Syrians and US coordinators, aims to reassess security measures, no quick resolutions are anticipated. Israel’s stance was also passed on to American mediators, specifying necessary security guarantees in any future arrangement.
