– UN Accuses Israel of Regular Torture against Palestinians:

The United Nations (UN) has accused Israel of systematic and organized torture against Palestinians in a recent report. Practices such as severe beatings, dog attacks, electric shocks, simulated drowning, prolonged stress positions, and sexual violence were highlighted. The UN report also noted that thousands of Palestinian men, women, and children are detained without trial, the numbers standing at 3,474 as of September 2021.

– Tragic Accident Halts Railway Traffic in Tel Aviv:

A tragic incident unfolded near Tel Aviv’s Hahagana Station when a man fell from a bridge onto the railway and was hit by an oncoming train. The man was declared dead at the scene by emergency responders. As a result, train operations were temporarily halted between the Hahagana Station, Lod, and Ben Gurion Airport, causing widespread delays along central railway lines.

– Impact on Israeli Train Services:

The unfortunate event at Tel Aviv Hahagana station had significant effects on railway schedules and affected routes to the north and south. As police continue to investigate the circumstances, Israel Railways undergoes operational changes to ensure safety. Despite the train movement resuming, heavy crowds were reported at both train and bus stations.

– Israeli Chief of Staff Visits Wounded Soldiers:

Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir of the Israeli military visited two injured reserve soldiers from the 55 Brigade at Sheba Hospital. The soldiers had been wounded in combat with al-Jama’a al-Islamiyyah terrorists in southern Syria. The visit comes amid protests against Israel’s actions in Syria.

– Israeli Banks Posting High Profits:

Israeli banks have reported considerable profits over the last two years, according to economist Gad Lior. Following a cumulative earning of 30 billion shekels last year, banks are on track to earn 35 billion this year despite increased taxes. Lior suggests a reduction in interest rates could benefit entrepreneurs and mortgage holders substantially.

– Public Protests in Tel Aviv for Kidnapped Citizens:

Citizens gathered in Tel Aviv to show solidarity with families of the two abducted citizens, Israeli soldier Ran Goili and Thai civilian Sontisak Rintalek. Over two years have passed since their disappearance in Gaza. The father of Goili, Itzik, urged officials to prevent any political progress in Gaza until all abductees are returned.
