– International Court of Justice Advisory Opinion:

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague is predicted to issue an advisory opinion condemning UNRWA laws passed by the Israeli Knesset. Israel is pushing back against what it perceives as political bias in the ICJ, claiming that the legal body is neglecting terrorist infiltration into UN organizations. Meanwhile, the U.S. has aligned itself with Israel and has also ceased its funding to UNRWA.

– Return of Two Abducted Israelis:

The bodies of Arie Zalmanovich and Tamir Adar, two abducted Israelis, have been repatriated. The government confirmed that they have been identified in collaboration with the National Center for Forensic Medicine, the Israeli police, and military. Both victims deeply loved their homeland and contributed significantly to their respective communities.

– U.S. Official’s Visit to Israel:

Donald Trump’s deputy landed in Israel recently, leaving heavy traffic in his wake, particularly around Kiryat Gat and Highway 1. Police have mobilized hundreds of officers and volunteers to keep order and direct traffic. Control centers have been placed on high alert to ensure effective command throughout the official visit.

– Meetings over a Gaza Cease-fire:

Egyptian intelligence chief Rashad is meeting with Israeli officials to discuss Gaza’s cease-fire, necessary aid administration, and challenges in establishing agreements between Israel and Hamas. Various strategic experts laud these meetings as critical and hope they can progress Israeli-Palestinian agreements.

– Return of Captured Soldier:

Israel received the coffin of a soldier held in Gaza, which was promptly transferred to the Israeli Defence Force by the Red Cross. Identification teams from the health ministry, police, and the institute for forensic medicine are working together to identify the abductee.

– Freedom for Captive Avinatan Ohr:

Avinatan Ohr has returned home after 738 days of captivity in Gaza, welcomed by cheering crowds in his native town. Ohr thanked everyone who supported him and credited the Israel Defense Forces for their role in his release. Following a period of hospital evaluation, he will now undertake a recovery program.

– Qatari Criticism of Israeli Actions:

Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani criticized Israel for alleged violations in Palestine, this comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s apology for a botched raid in Doha. The Qatari Emir’s criticism leveled exclusively toward Israel did not mention Hamas, which is reportedly contributing significantly to the formation of a technocrat government in Gaza.
