The political candidate known as “Mamadani” is making strides to court the Jewish vote in Brooklyn, aiming at the Satmar Hasidic community, despite their central leadership formerly endorsing his opponent, Andrew Cuomo. The politician’s warm reception is part of his larger effort, building upon previous visits to progressive synagogues during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

– NEA Sparks Controversy Over Israel Map Omission:

The National Education Association (NEA) faced backlash after sending an email to its members featuring a map that omitted Israel and labeled it as “Palestine”. Despite clarifying it was sourced externally, an apology and further explanation are demanded, especially as the contentious map link remains live on the organization’s website despite removal elsewhere.

This move requires Palestinian agreement and anticipates the “kidnap deal”, signaling a breakthrough in a conflict long-standing in Israel’s history.

– US Reveals ‘Coordination Center’ to Implement Ceasefire in Israel:

Approximately 200 US soldiers are set to facilitate the Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement within a newly established ‘Coordination Center’. Comprising representatives from agreed countries, including the US, Qatar, and Turkey, the center will oversee aid entry and other Gaza ceasefire logistics.

– Unresolved Aspects of Israel-Hamas Agreement Surfaces:
