– Peace Agreement Between Israel and Hamas:

The Israeli government has approved a peace agreement with Hamas, prompting Israel forces to withdraw from Gaza City and Khan Yunis within 24 hours. This will include a prisoner exchange, an end to the war in Gaza Strip, and the initiation of the first phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan. Upon the completion of the withdrawal, a 72-hour countdown begins for Hamas to release prisoners, including 20 kidnap victims and 28 dead soldiers.

– Approval for Netanyahu and “Trump Agreement”:

A recent survey by Israel’s Channel 13 reveals growing support for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Likud party and the proposed ‘Trump agreement’. While favorability for immediate elections is narrowly ahead, over 80% of respondents support the peace agreement, and two-thirds view Trump as a larger contributor than Netanyahu.

– US Establishing “Coordination Center” in Israel:

To facilitate the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, the US is establishing a “Coordination Center” in Israel. Staffed by around 200 military and logistics specialists, the center will coordinate humanitarian and logistical aid to the Gaza Strip, with representatives from various countries ensuring implementation compliance.

– Yemen’s Houthi Rebels’ Anticipated Reaction:

Despite the Gaza ceasefire, Houthi rebels in Yemen are expected to continue their assault on Israel without respite. Their spokesperson mentioned that the conflict with Israel is a necessity rather than a strategic choice, fueling their anti-US and Israel narrative.

– Exchange of Details Regarding Deceased Captives:

The Israel-Hamas agreement sets a 72-hour window for both parties to disclose information regarding deceased captives. Despite this, The Family Headquarters For The Return of The Kidnapped has expressed concern about the lack of binding timetables and punitive mechanisms to ensure the return of all the fallen.

– President Trump’s Upcoming Visit:

President Trump is set to visit Israel, post the release of the hostages. He is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Israeli parliament, marking the first address by an incumbent U.S. President since George W. Bush in 2008.

– Unresolved Aspects of the Agreement:

Several aspects of the Israel-Hamas agreement are yet to be addressed, including security issues and the disarmament of Hamas. An international force is anticipated to assist in locating missing hostages, shaping the future control of the Gaza strip, and participating in the reconstruction of the war-torn Gaza Strip.
