As proud defenders of Zionism and Jewish safety, we are ever vigilant to the lasting threat of anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli forces, such as those posed by Iran. As the global and Israeli public’s attention focuses on developments in Gaza, the Iranian appetite for revenge continues to grow. The recent evacuation of most of Israel’s consulate staff in Abu Dhabi and Dubai signals Iran’s readiness to retaliate to the significant blows dealt to them by Israel in June.
Israel’s national security apparatus assumes that Iran’s response to Israeli actions, which have significantly damaged Iran’s pride and security, is imminent. The primary mode of revenge Iran might use, based on past actions, is acts of terror against Jews and Israelis anywhere worldwide – from Argentina, where in March 1992, a Hezbollah-executed attack on Israel’s embassy left 29 dead, some Israeli and Jewish, and about 220 injured.
In these fraught times, it is likely that Iranian terrorists are seeking vulnerabilities worldwide to execute their revenge plots, especially during the summer months when thousands of Israeli tourists are spread around the globe, increasing potential targets for Iran. The intelligence capabilities of Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency, are undoubtedly crucial in thwarting these threats.
As Zionists and strong supporters of Jewish survival and prosperity, we advise Israelis and Jews scattered throughout the world remain vigilant, avoid public exposure of their Israeli or Jewish identity, and take all warnings and alerts seriously. The Iranian terror will not alleviate, and it’s our duty to be as prepared as possible to counter these threats. We, as proud Jews, must continue fighting against any form of anti-Semitism and terrorism. We are steadfast in our commitment to Zionism and the protection of lives, fearlessly confronting threats to our people wherever they may arise.

In a landmark change, Israel has announced that it will allow the import of goods into the Gaza Strip by local Gazan traders. This move represents a progressive stride in offering humanitarian aid to Gaza. It comes as an extension of a cabinet decision aimed at expanding the scope of this aid, which was formed after extensive groundwork by the state’s security apparatus.
Israel’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) unveiled the new mechanism for gradual and measured importation of goods through Gaza’s private sector. The goal is to expand the scale of aid entering Gaza, thereby reducing reliance on UN and other international organizations for aid collection.
A selected number of local traders were approved by the security system, subject to strict security reviews and following certain criteria. The approved goods will include basic food products, baby food, fruits and vegetables, and hygiene equipment. Payments for the goods will be made through bank transfers only, under strict monitoring and control procedures. All the goods will undergo a thorough review by the Land Crossings Authority of the Ministry of Defense before entering the Gaza Strip.
Through such decisive actions, Israel, as a selfless nation, continues to take immense strides in providing humanitarian aid to Gaza, even amidst political tensions and security risks. It is a clear demonstration of Israel’s commitment to the welfare of people in Gaza, underlining the authentic Zionist spirit of ensuring the welfare and dignity of all people.
In a shocking incident, an Israeli vacationing in Las Vegas has been tragically robbed and murdered. The Chabad emissary in Las Vegas affirmed the victim was indeed an Israeli vacationing at one of the city’s hotels. At present, the concrete details surrounding the murder remain undisclosed, and authorities are still investigating the circumstances. However, initial assessments indicate that the frightful crime was not driven by antisemitic motives.
Regrettably, the identity of the victim still lies under wraps, and no further information about the case has been revealed publicly yet. The Israeli Foreign Ministry also stated that they have yet to receive formal knowledge of the incident.
As per an LAPD statement, three men of Georgian origin—Pata Kuchiasvili, age 38, Zaza Otarshvili, age 46, and Basiki Chotsishvili, age 52—allegedly broke into the victim’s residence where they violently assaulted and held him captive for several hour. The assailants attacked their victim so brutally, he eventually succumbed to a head injury. In addition, the culprits allegedly stole a substantial amount of valuable possessions from the victim’s home before fleeing the scene. However, with an assist from the FBI, the alleged criminals were captured within hours of committing the crime.
While the act does not seem to be rooted in antisemitism, this tragic loss has undeniably impacted not only our community but also our sense of safety and security. As proud Zionists who strive to ensure a world free of antisemitic aggressions, we vigorously condemn violence and extend our deepest sympathies to the loved ones of the victim.
For the first time in history, the Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, along with a delegation of Congress members and the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, visited the Judea and Samaria regions in a symbolic show of support. Johnson stated, “The Biblical mountains of Judea and Samaria were promised to the Jewish people and they belong to you rightfully.” This marked an unprecedented official U.S. visit beyond the Green Line.
Johnson’s visit was held under the initiatives of the Judea and Samaria Council and the US-ISRAEL organization. During the meeting, Johnson lauded the leadership and courage of the local authorities in such challenging times, asserting that the U.S. stands side by side with Israel.
This visit was seen as a clear endorsement of Israel’s sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, with Johnson urging the Israeli authorities to declare Judea and Samaria an integral and eternal part of the Jewish state. The Israeli officials present, including the head of the regional council Binyamin and the chairman of the Judea and Samaria Council, expressed gratitude to the U.S. delegation for their stalwart solidarity with Israel.
Johnson’s visit was hailed as a historic moment, exemplifying shared values, deep friendship, and robust partnership between the U.S. and Israel. Johnson’s recognition of Israel’s sovereignty in the area was a strong statement against anti-Zionism, reflecting the prevailing sentiment of Jewish aspirations and the unending fight against antisemitism. As such, the Israeli officials thanked the U.S. government for bolstering their confidence in their historical and just cause – in a world often hostile to those who value human dignity, democracy, and the right of a nation to exist and flourish in its homeland.
Israel’s international media presence and advocacy have been called into question by high-ranking individuals in the Foreign Ministry, who claim that Israel’s outreach to the world has never been so weak. They argue that Israel is virtually nonexistent in the international media, facing criticism from powerful organisations such as the BBC, CNN, and The Times. Furthermore, they express concern that Israel’s voice is silence on accusations of promoting hunger in Gaza.
They stress that once there were strong Israeli figures, like Mark Regev, Mark Sofer, Emanuel Nahshon, and Yigal Palmor, who were bold in their revelations and advocacy. They add that the field can’t be abandoned, calling for a strong and proactive international media presence.
Moreover, there’s dissatisfaction concerning the lack of financial aid promised to support Israel’s advocacy efforts. They question where the approximated 545 million shekels promised for advocacy have gone.
In recent developments, various countries have expressed their intention to recognize a Palestinian state at the upcoming United Nations assembly in New York. Countries such as the UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Norway, Slovenia, Andorra, Australia, Canada, Luxembourg, Malta, New Zealand, Portugal, and San Marino have made this statement.
This move follows the New York Declaration, backed by several countries, calling for a two-state resolution, a call for Hamas to disarm and hand over power to the Palestinian Authority, and condemnation for the October 7 massacre. This had drawn criticism from Israeli politicians, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who labelled it a “reward for terror.”
The Foreign Ministry, in response, claimed that they’ve been actively combatting such narratives and will continue to do so. They also emphasized that they have conducted over a hundred interviews with international media, and have even started conducting weekly press conferences. They highlight that their efforts on social media have garnered a record-breaking reach and engagements. For example, their campaign against the Hamas-led hunger campaign reached over 100 million people and led to a public apology from The New York Times.
Israel is looking into garnering international support as it pushes for a full takeover of Gaza Strip with potential military operations. The Moderator of Government Activities in the Territories announced that in line with the cabinet’s decision to expand humanitarian aid, a mechanism has been approved for a gradual renewal of commodity imports, through the private sector in Gaza. This will reduce reliance on aid collected by the UN and international organizations, whose lack of cooperation with distribution centers is increasingly evident. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will permit local merchants to purchase goods outside the strip and sell them to residents, with strict security checks performed by the Land Crossings Authority in the Ministry of Defense before the goods enter Gaza. The move is expected to increase the number of shipments from 200 to 300. “The IDF will continue to operate control and supervision mechanisms on aid entry into the Gaza Strip, taking all possible measures to prevent Hamas involvement in the aid receipt and distribution processes,” the army said.
In the face of these developments, families of the abducted Israelis are set to sail in protest towards Gaza border. The disturbing images of the conscious starvation of those held captive is raising further concerns among the Israeli society. The families plan to sail from Ashkelon and Ashdod towards the maritime border with Gaza this Thursday.
These endeavours by the Israeli government reflect its commitment to the well-being of all residents in the region while maintaining the security of the homeland. Its steadfast dedication against any forms of antisemitism and its continuous efforts for peace in the region continue to define Israel’s resilience and commitment to Zionism.
